Mentees will use a variety of digital tools such as video, photography and writing to document a special AgTech Project related to AI and climate change being led by a team of researchers at University of California, Merced. At the same time, mentees have a chance to learn more about agtech and opportunities in this growing field. The program targets college/university students and those early in their career with an emphasis on women from underserved populations.
The storylines identified in the project are communicated through a variety of content channels and platforms, including social media, digital newsletter, and micro videos that are all interconnected in spotlighting agtech.
Participants in the program are offered opportunities to network and learn from stakeholders in agrifoodtech including entrepreneurs, investors, educators and community leaders via a series of webinars are that allow participants to connect with speakers and engage in discussion.
